Hunger Manifesto For Generation Z
HUNGER
Heal Unleash Nourish Global Emotional Resonance
Hunger (Heal Unleash Nourish Global Emotional Resonance) is the Earth Cup's manifesto for Generation Z - the green generation. With 5 billion global fans and 250 million players of this beautiful game in over 200 countries, football's power to ignite emotional and behavioral contagion, for better or worse, is second to none! For comparison, total armed forces personnel in the world in 2018 was 27.6 million! The Earth Cup has innovated "Transformative Football" as part of a new global eco-psychological architecture to bring about and maximize life satisfaction for Generation Z. God gave them the gift of life and the Earth Cup will give them the gift of living. Generation Z is ‘traumatized’ by climate change—and they’re the key to fighting it. Generation Z grew up with climate change as the greatest existential risk facing humanity. The term “climate change” is embedded in the DNA of Gen Z. Gen Z is the Honest Generation. They are done with fake news. They are unprejudiced seekers of the naked truth and are insusceptible to even the best-dressed lie. 62% of Gen Z believe their generation will bring positive change to the world. They are borderless "social justice warriors". Future is not to be forecast, but created by Generation Z.
In the design of the cognitive architecture of Earth Cup's new social media platform, we have delved into four core Gen Z behaviors revealed by one study, all of which are anchored in one element: this generation’s search for truth. Gen Zers value individual expression and avoid labels. They mobilize themselves for a variety of causes. They believe profoundly in the efficacy of dialogue to solve conflicts and improve the world. Finally, they make decisions and relate to institutions in a highly analytical and pragmatic way. They are hyper-cognitive. We believe Gen Z is the “True Gen.” In contrast to the previous generation—the millennials, sometimes called the “me generation”, the centennials are more idealistic and rebellious. They’re friends without borders.
